Can Peyton Manning put an end to the curse of Johnny Unitas, who shunned the Colts when they moved from Baltimore and embraced the Ravens when they moved there?
Indianapolis has never won a playoff game against a Non-AFC West opponent
The last time the Colts won a playoff game against a Non-AFC West opponent was in 1971 when they were in Baltimore and the Ravens were in Cleveland
They now go to their original city of Baltimore to play the ex-Cleveland Browns again.
Is this the end to the only remaining jilted ex-player curse in Sports, or just a Bucky Dent, Bill Buckner, Aaron Boone waiting to happen?
No Way! The curse of Johnny U. will forever live on. The Colts will never win a Super Bowl as long as the colors, history and horseshoe of the Baltimore Colts are not returned to Baltimore – where they belong. I am so so sick of hearing about the Indy Colts history of things that happened when the Colts were the original Baltimore Colts. Return it to Baltimore and let Indy make it’s own legacy – with it’s own name, colors, logo, etc. The Indy Colts are like the New Orleans Saints in that neither team has won a Super Bowl! The difference being that most people have a whole lot more respect for the Saints than they will ever have for the Indy Colts! Peyton Manning is good – but he ain’t got the Golden Arm of John Unitas. Forever Johnny U!!!! Unitas We Stand!!!!!!!
