Baby Doll
Would you buy your son a baby doll if he wanted?
My son is 2 and has recently asked for a doll. I plan make him a boy (one dressed in blue). I played with cars and hot wheels as a kid and nobody cared that I was a daughter. Would you buy your son a doll? I think it would be a good thing considering that we hope will one day give me babies great.
I was a childcare worker for 10 years and the boys have played every corner house in time. Many dads get upset if their boys play with dolls, but what they forget is that their sons one day become partners, husbands, fathers. Roll play with dolls helps develop skills such as care, education, empathy and so on. I say go out and buy her a doll and it doesn't have to be blue. Lets face it, if it continues to have a family, he may have daughters. I must add that I think the comments Weird Wendell were just that – weird!
